WITH YOUTUBE
Despite being a go-to for videos and creator content, YouTube’s growing movie library remained largely under the radar. YouTube partnered with us to raise awareness and drive traffic to the Movies homepage, specifically through engaging bumper ads (and digital banners) that would appear next to, before, or after YouTube videos.
We developed a flexible, modular visual system that could easily adapt to showcase different films while maintaining a cohesive look and feel. This included tailored video ads for single new releases, multiple films, and themed collections like holiday specials. The result was a campaign that effectively spotlighted YouTube's movie offerings, engaging users and encouraging them to explore the platform’s film library.

The visual concept of this campaign was deeply rooted in the world of film, emphasizing the film industry through deliberate references to equipment, overlays, and design patterns often seen in entertainment. These elements were brought to life with fluid motion, smoothly transitioning between movie clips and visuals.

We were tasked with creating four types of video ads for the campaign: General Storefront, Multi-Release, Single-Release, and Themed (e.g., holiday films). All ads were designed to align with the modular visual concept we developed.
