THE CHALLENGE

Google needed a product video for the updated Google Chat that could break through the noise of generic enterprise software demos.

The obstacle: most B2B product videos default to feature checklists that lose viewer attention within seconds. The brief required communicating Chat's collaborative tools (video messaging, AI assistance via Gemini, third-party integrations) in under two minutes while proving it functions as the central hub for teams already operating within Google Workspace.

THE STRATEGY

The creative direction centered on one principle: show, don't tell. Rather than listing capabilities, we demonstrated Chat's value through real workflow scenarios, illustrating how it eliminates friction like app switching, lost thread context, and file hunting.

The visual framework leveraged Google's pastel palette with dynamic motion graphics to make UI feel alive rather than static. Geometric shapes functioned as visual guides, directing attention to key interface moments while sustaining engagement throughout. This approach prioritized viewer experience over feature completeness, focusing on the most impactful tools that solve actual team pain points.
